I also made some research into different music magazines so that I would be prepared for my main print task. I researched and annotated NME Magazine, I looked at the front cover, contents page and a double page spread.

I then made plans for my main print task and made rough layouts for both my preliminary and main task. i made plans for the front cover, contents page and the double page spread.

Preliminary Task

I start thinking about ideas for my print task, after brainstroming my ideas, I made a list of what I wanted to do in a Word Document. I detailed what images i wanted to use, the colour shceme, who I will ask to model for me, what locations I will shoot at and the layout of the magazine cover and the contents page.

Analysing Magazines

Here I have started to look at the different types of magazines, I looked at the layout, colour schemes, effects and the difference between mainstream magazines and smaller magazines such as sixthform and college magazines.
